With the FRITZ! Repeater 3000, AVM adds a new powerful WiFi
Mesh repeater to its product range. This modern technology is suitable for
anyone who wants to integrate many devices into their wireless home network.
Thanks to its innovative technology and three transmitting units, the tri-band
repeater offers greater range and high data throughput over the wireless
network.
The FRITZ! Repeater 3000 and the wireless router communicate
with each other via the additional 5 GHz frequency band. This more efficient
transmission of data guarantees users a stable connection and a high speed,
whether for playing, streaming or checking e-mails. In addition, the Mesh WiFi
repeater has a new practical design and its configuration is easier than ever.
It is also distinguished by its low consumption of
electricity. With the powerful popular FRITZ! Repeater 1750E repeater and the
recently introduced FRITZ! Repeater 600, 1200 and 2400, the new FRITZ! Repeater
3000 is the perfect complement to AVM's WiFi Mesh product line for exceptional
wireless performance. The FRITZ! Repeater 3000 is now available at an indicative
price of 129 euros.
The new FRITZ! Repeater 3000 transmits simultaneously on a
frequency of 2.4 GHz and on two separate frequencies of 5 GHz thanks to its
three transmitting units. The Mesh WiFi repeater communicates with the FRITZ!
Box via the additional 5 GHz frequency, to ensure optimal connection of all
devices within the Mesh WiFi.
Consequently, the other frequencies are free to communicate
with the terminals, which guarantees a high data rate, even if several wireless
devices are connected simultaneously. Smart technologies such as band steering,
AP steering (11v, 11k), crossband repeating and self-healing functions ensure
that all mobile devices always have optimal access to WiFi. Thanks to the two
gigabit LAN ports of the tri-band repeater, network-compatible devices can also
be connected via cable. And thanks to free updates to the FRITZ! OS intelligent
operating system, the Mesh WiFi repeater regularly receives new security
features and solutions.
Quick and easy installation
The FRITZ! Repeater 3000 can be installed at the touch of a
button. With its new vertical housing, the repeater can be placed anywhere in
the house. The tri-band repeater automatically takes care of all the settings
of the FRITZ! Box, such as network name, password, night mode, guest network
settings and automatic updates.
The FRITZ! Box acts as a Mesh Master: it implements settings
and modifications for all devices simultaneously. In addition, LED indicators
show the status and quality of the connection between the repeater and the
FRITZ! Box. Users can also use the FRITZ! WLAN app to find the perfect location
for their Mesh WiFi repeater. Finally, the new FRITZ! Repeater 3000 is energy
efficient, both in use and in standby mode.
